John Adams


Mars 1770. Installé à Boston avec sa famille, John Adams - avocat de 35 ans - va se faire remarquer pour son impartialité alors qu'il défend des soldats britanniques au cours du procès dit du "Massacre de Boston". Une plaidoirie qui lui vaudra le respect de ses pairs et qui, de fil en aiguille, va l'amener à devenir l'un des plus ardents défenseurs de l'Indépendance américaine. Après avoir joué un rôle de premier plan dans la révolution aux côtés de figures incontournables telles que Washington, Franklin ou Jefferson, il parcourra l'Europe avant de devenir le 1er Vice-Président et d'accéder par la suite au poste très convoité de Président.
